Nebraska, Omaha - Report by Makayla. Today, we will give information about Design Essentials - Review.
I have waited the longest time to try Design Essentials Products and I really don't know why? I have only ever been left speechless (in a good way not a Mizani way) by Afro Botanics products. Readers of this blog will know how I LOVE ME some Afro Botanics. BUT, I have to say the Design Essentials Almond and Avocado hair-care line is bloody good (yes I used the word bloody). I honestly didn't expect to feel the way I did with Design Essentials I read the ingredients smelt the product played around with it in my hands then eventually used the products.

The leave in Conditioner - WOW and WOW this stuff is truly amazing it de-tangled my hair and it left my hair feeling SMOOTH and really silky. When someone says my hair is silky the thought that always comes to my mind is that "silcony coated" type of feeling but not with this leave-in, my hair felt like I was running my hands over my freshly washed and ironed satin pillowcase, my curls were also extremely defined. To stretch my hair I twisted it into two strand twist and when it dried not only did I have an amazing twist-out but my hair was soft and shiny and very bouncy. This one is definitely going to become one of my favorites it also smells AMA-ZING.
The Design Essentials Moisturizing Almond and Avocado Shampoo and De-tangling Conditioner are a match made in "moisturizer heaven". These two work together to firstly restore the moisture in your hair and secondly add even more moisture. When I washed my hair with the shampoo my hair felt like it had been co-washed, you could easily skip the conditioner step and use the leave-in conditioner if you are pressed for time. The de-tangling conditioner works to infuse your hair with moisture, as it melts the knots from your hair (which aren't many after the shampoo), this conditioner also works to define your curls, so if you are going for a wash and go it definitely makes the next step easier
As always the best for last, now ladies you all know me by now and you know that I LOVE CURL DEFINITION be it a twist-out, bantu-knot out or wash and go this stuff (I actually feel a bit emotional right now thinking about it) This Design Essentials Curl Defining Cream was made for girls like me that want those little popping curls......firstly this stuff smells amazing and when I applied it to sections of my hair it immediately defined that section with tiny beautiful curls and the big thing for me was NO CRUNCH feeling when my wash and go dried, finally I found something that can give me that wash and go look without the crunch. After a couple of days of my wash and go I decided to do a bantu-knot out, I didn't need to reapply any product so I just lightly spritzed my hair with plain water and put my hair in bantu-knots, I let them dry for a whole day before I took them down and separated. I was truly blown away by the results and as one person put it my hair was "the business". The curls were full and defined by the time I got to third day hair I had the biggest Fro I have ever had with the curls still looking AMA-ZING. I want to write a "curl love letter" to Design Essentials about their Curl Defining Cream as it has a very special place in my curl heart. I love this stuff and I will make sure that I get at least 3 tubs of this so I never run out.

I will definitely be trying more of the Design Essentials products and yes I will listen to you guys more often when you suggest products that I should try. I am looking forward to the Design Essentials Coconut and Monoi Oil range which is set to launch in South Africa soon.
Do you have a product that you swear by? Have you tried any of the Design Essentials Natural Hair products?
Remember to love your hair always
